Carnival Star (25" x 25")
Print this page to help with your fabric
selections.

Fabrics and thread: (fabrics based on width of 40 - 44 unless
otherwise noted, a fat quarter measures
18x20)
If fabric choices are a bit difficult,
I
suggest choosing fabrics in the order
listed.
Printing the "Carnival Star detail"
page may also be helpful.

Equipment:

machine manual
-
Bed extension for your machine if
you have
one
- Open-toe foot for machine applique (optional
but makes machine applique much easier)
(only

- A foot with a small groove in the bottom
to help make piping easier. If you
dont
have one, a zipper foot is required
to make
piping. (Pfafies: the small clear
plastic
open-toe applique foot makes great
piping.
Bernina users: the #3 corded button
hole
foot is OK, but a foot #23 or #32
is even
better.)
