Nine-Patch Medallion

Retail Price: $8

Showcase some beautiful fabric and/or fabulous thread with this simple quilt. Two options are offered. Option 1 uses one feature fabric and includes instruction for mitered border corners. Option 2 uses 8 feature fabrics, a pieced border, and squared-off border corners. I used some fabulous batik fabric and took advantage of the different patterns available on one piece of fabric. (Binding instructions are not included in this pattern, but if you like the look of piping in the binding, those instructions are written in detail in “Piping Hot Binding” by Pieces Be With You.)
These instructions feature the following::
  • Two border options: pieced border with squared-off corners OR solid borders with mitered corners
  • Quilting templates
